Related to the library construction of the yeast deletion / yeast knock out collections – publications from Stanford University, Washington University, Johns Hopkins University
Functional profiling of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae genome. Nature 2002, 418:387-391. Giaever G, Chu AM, Ni L, Connelly C, Riles L, Veronneau S, Dow S, Lucau-Danila A, Anderson K, Andre B, et al.:
Summary: Describes the systematical construction of a nearly complete collection of gene-deletion mutants in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Molecular bar codes uniquely identify each strain with a particular deletion.
The uses of genome-wide yeast mutant collections. Genome Biology 2004, 5:229 Bart Scherens and Andre Goffeau:

Summary: Five years of usage of the major genome-wide collections of mutants from Saccharomyces cerevisiae: single deletion mutants, double mutants conferring 'synthetic' lethality and the 'TRIPLES' collection of mutants obtained by random transposon insertion.
Related to yeast MATa haploid genomic deletion library
A shunt pathway limits the CaaX processing of Hsp40 Ydj1p and regulates Ydj1p-dependent phenotypes. Hildebrandt, E. R., Cheng, M., Zhao, P., Kim, J. H., Wells, L., & Schmidt, W. K. (2016). eLife, 5, e15899.

Summary: The yeast strains used in this study were isolated from a commercial MATa haploid genomic deletion library currently available from transOMIC Technologies Inc., Huntsville, AL. Strains were propagated at 30°C, or room temperature if temperature sensitive, on either YPD or selective media as appropriate. Plasmids were introduced into strains via a lithium acetate-based transformation procedure.
